Hannah is an artist and designer based in New York City. She graduated from Parsons School for Design with a BFA in Integrated Design, and lives in Brooklyn. She’s been selected to be a merit studio resident at international artist residencies in Zalaegerszeg, Hungary; Belgrade, Serbia; Provence, France; Skagaströnd, Iceland; Lisbon, Portugal; Messejana, Portugal; and as a studio artist in Charlotte, USA and NYC, USA. She has exhibited mainly in NYC, as well as Lisbon and St. Petersburg; with work in private collections across the US and in Portugal, France, Germany, Hungary, and the UK.

This newest exhibition features playful yet sophisticated mixed media painting on partially primed canvas. The work deals with themes of pop-culture and advertising through the lens of the surrealist painting tradition. Hannah expertly blends the appropriative aesthetics of street art with the skilled hand of a traditional oil painter resulting in something familiar yet somehow completely fresh and new. Join us in celebrating this new body of work and meet the artists at our April 15th public reception.
