Aleksandra Cherepanova - "Your Feelings Matter!"

  • Solas Studio 117 East 24th St , Second Floor New York, NY, 10010 United States (map)

Solas studio is proud to present Aleksandra Cherepanova's newest solo exhibition "Your Feelings Matter!".

Aleksandra joined Solas Studio in 2021. She graduated from the Moscow Academy of Education's Academy of Painting in 2007 and has been a member of the MUA (Moscow Union of Artists)'s Monumental Art section since 2008. She is a winner of multiple Art Week competitions in Russia, Asia and Europe.

With a focus on Abstract Expressionism this exhibition entitled "Your Feelings Matter!" invites the viewer to interpret the work viscerally. Like a Rorschach test or a Rothko, much of the work presented here resonates in the realm of the subconscious, consisting only of color and form.

Also featured are a small selection of still life and landscape work hand selected from Aleksandra's previous collections. On display for by-appointment private viewings December 1st - December 28th. Public reception Saturday, December 3rd, 2022 from 5pm to 8pm.
